1. A New WWE World Heavyweight Champion
It would be easy to look at the above and say that Brock Lesnar will leave Los Angeles as the WWE World Heavyweight champion. After all, it has been the belief of many that Lesnar is the next champion in waiting and that he will be the monster heel that must be knocked off by Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns. if that is the case, how will WWE book around a champion that makes a limited number of appearances every year and almost assuredly will not be competing at every pay-per-view between now and WrestleMania next April? How will WWE Creative maintain rivalries at the top of the card without something for the Superstars to fight over? Hell, at least Abeyance made regular appearance when he was champion last fall. I think. No, Lesnar is not the only option WWE has at its disposal when it comes to crowning a new champion at SummerSlam. The Beast Incarnate will, however, have a hand in the crowning of the new titleholder. Frustrated with his inability to put Cena away, Lesnar would brutally assault the leader of the Cenation, leading to a disqualification finish and a champion left in a heap. Seth Rollins, despite a physical battle with Dean Ambrose earlier in the night, would then appear and successfully cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins becomes champion and Lesnar maintains his heat having left Cena unconscious. This sets up a program between the architect of The Shield and Cena that can run throughout the fall while leaving questions as to who would have won the third and deciding match in the Cena-Lesnar series had the latter kept his cool. Most importantly, it would create a scenario in which Lesnar can win the title at a later date if he is still intended to enter WrestleMania with it. Regardless of what actually does play out this August, it is safe to say that someone other than John Cena will emerge from the biggest part of the summer with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in their possession.
