Its crazy to think that two workers in the same match could have so firmly landed on opposing lists, but thats what happened. Lets face it: Brie Bella seems like a really nice lady, tries hard at her craft and has obviously been working to improve over the course of the last year or two. But she still has a long way to go, and when paired with a natural performer like Stephanie her deficiencies become even more glaring. Brie was clearly being carried here, with McMahon doing the heavy lifting, and her timing was really off in spots, including being unable to land her kicks at the right tempo for the audience to do the Yes! chants along with them. The differences in their abilities, with Stephanie being so amazing at her role, actually caused a subtle shift in support during the match, with a segment of the crowd getting behind The Authoritys queen bee. From a kayfabe standpoint, Daniel Bryans wife lost the match to her hated rival and was betrayed by her sister all at the same time. Thats a bad day at the office. Itll be interesting to see where the feud goes from here, with the logical continuation being the shift from Stephanie to Nikki, but thats a losing situation for Brie, who needs a more talented worker to help her along, and for the fans who will probably crap all over when THE BELLA POWERS EXPLODE.
