Normally when you think 'guest host' of a show, your mind conjured up images of known failures in that endeavor's history. The Rock was a decent host at best for WrestleMania XXVII, and many of these similar guests have shown up on RAW recently, with their involvements being generally disappointing.

However, one person who managed to make full use of his involvement with the show was John Stewart.

Not only was his status as 'host' put to good use throughout the show (with a bit of an exception for that opening segment), Stewart took part in one of the most historic moments in WWE history as he aided Seth Rollins in defeating John Cena to become the first simultaneous holder of both the WWEWHC and the United States Championship.

While some have derided the decision as bizarre and nonsensical, it did a great job of adding a moment of genuine shock to an otherwise predictable show. There were many theories abound on the ultimate outcome of the Cena-Rollins match, with most people suggesting interference from Sheamus, the Authority, Kevin Owens, or some other unclean finish that would in all likelihood have both men retain their respective championships.

With Jon Stewart, not only does his involvement further elevate Rollins as the ideal 'chickens**t heel', but it adds an entire new dynamic for the WWE's storyline directions going forward. Stewart's involvement will certainly be one of the most hotly-discussed moments for a long time to come.
