9. Stardust And King Barrett Deserve So Much Better

If there was ever a duo of WWE Superstars who were constantly being presented with unnecessarily-humiliating storylines and ridiculous match-ups, it would be Stardust and King Barrett. Though they did their jobs in this match (literally and metaphorically), they were both once again presented as weaklings, losing to a team of which one member isn't even a wrestler.

Under normal circumstances, any match involving a celebrity as an actual in-ring participant should be reserved for someone like Santino Marella or a full-time jobber, and not for two wrestlers who, not too long ago, were believed to be major stars that would become fresh challengers for the WWE Championship. But no; WWE took the 2015 King of the Ring winner and the son of Dusty Rhodes and sent them out as fodder to Stephen Amell in a match that seemed to be put together without a clear payoff.

Though Amell looked very impressive during this match (this might very well have been the best match involving a celebrity in recent memory), what does this do for either Neville, Barrett or Stardust long-term? While Neville's career might still be safe, for his opponents in this match, any positive momentum or legitimacy they might've had before this match is gone.

Hopefully they can bounce back, but such hopes have been raised in the past, and with little success so far...
