After spending months losing important matches and being presented as a cowardly heel, Kevin Owens had to leave SummerSlam 2015 as the winner...and that he did.

In what can only be described as a dream match-up, Owens and Cesaro were neck-and-neck throughout this exciting match. Despite the lack of an enthusiastic crowd audience, both men put on a stellar performance together. Though Cesaro was obviously the stronger and more agile of the two during this match, Owens had the more devastating offense, which went well with his current heel gimmick.

Some of Owens' best moments in this match include: a somersault plancha onto Cesaro within the first 40 seconds of the match, a devastating-looking Argentine Neckbreaker onto Cesaro, and how he almost hit a picture-perfect Moonsault from the top rope. Then, of course, there was the ending, that saw Owens hit a cradle suplex from the top rope, and then a pop-up Powerbomb for the pin.

A win like this is just when Kevin Owens needed. He looked like he belonged in this match and that he could hang with someone as strong and tough as Cesaro. Moreover, after losing in such a high-profile match to Finn Balor the night before, Owens has some important momentum going forward. Whether his feud with Cesaro continues or not, expect to see more good Owens matches in the near future.
