Despite the fact most of the live crowd seemed desperate to see Jon Stewart suffer from 'Ringpostitis', attention quickly turned to the entrance way. The familiar refrains of The New Day's theme music blared across the arena, and Big E sprinted down the aisle to club Karl Anderson (pun intended) and Luke Gallows.

Big E had been - in storyline at least - on the shelf since he was painfully pulled into the ring post by The Club beforehand. This led to several comedic skits involving the heel tag-team, who pretended to be doctors and weirdly carried an egg around in a jar they claimed to be the New Day member's testicle.

The absence of Big E added some credibility to the title challenge of Gallows and Anderson, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods didn't have their usual muscle to rely on. The SummerSlam match ended in disqualification, technically meaning The Club were the winners. They didn't get the WWE Tag-Team Titles with that win though.

Fans were thrilled to see Big E make his comeback, the pop was more than respectable.
