WWE SummerSlam 2017: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

1. Brock Lesnar Taps Out

The biggest shock of all would be seeing Brock Lesnar helplessly succumb to the Coquina Clutch. That provided the foundation for the singles feud between both men pre-Great Balls Of Fire, and WWE did a tremendous job of putting across just how dangerous the submission hold is. Still, nobody would see a Lesnar tap out coming.

Brock wouldn't even have to visually submit to make the moment amazing. Should Strowman dish out more of his bloodlust on Roman Reigns, Joe and Lesnar would be left alone in the ring. From there, seeing the Samoan cling desperately to a rapidly fading Brock sounds like a powerful visual for SummerSlam 2017 to end with.

Joe would be instantly credible should he submit Brock Lesnar and take the Universal Title. It doesn't seem likely, but it must have been considered in WWE's creative meetings. 'What if?' is the kind of question that opens doors, and this is a killer opportunity to make Joe look like WWE's biggest bad ass.
