Even with some WWE dates in India lined up this September, it'd still be a slight surprise to see Jinder Mahal retain the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Shinsuke Nakamura is a golden child in the eyes of many hardcore wrestling fans, and there's an almost ferocious desire to see WWE book him properly as a top star.

If that means Mahal's experiment is abolished, then so be it. WWE may not feel the same however, which could leave a lot of people teary-eyed should Jinder beat Nakamura clean. Imagine telling any wrestling fan that Jinder freakin' Mahal could feasibly beat Shinsuke Nakamura in a top match at SummerSlam six months ago.

You'd be laughed out of the room, and quite rightly so. The potential is there though for one of the most startling results in SummerSlam history. Mahal may be WWE Champion, but this is a Barry Horowitz beating Skip level of upset win to those who have followed Shinsuke's career elsewhere.
