Whilst it is cool to see Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose perform the group's signature hand gesture, it's also important to remember that this isn't The Shield at full force. Until Roman Reigns joins on, that can't be the case. Whether those who despise Roman want to admit it or not, this is only 2/3's of the faction.

It was therefore encouraging to see WWE take their time over any notion of a full-blown reunion by continuing to paint Ambrose and Rollins as singles stars who have only just mended fences. Both men came out to their own entrance music, which also suggests creative realise it's too soon for any mention of 'Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta'.

Keep that Shield music away for now, please. If Ambrose and Rollins suddenly start coming out to the hard-hitting music which ominously preceded The Shield's carnage, then it'll kill any desire to hear it when Reigns inevitably does come into the picture.
