WWE SummerSlam 2018: 10 Most Likely Outcomes

While Roman Reigns isn't popular with the WWE Universe, the company's main problem with the Universal Championship match stems from the fact that those same fans have grown weary of Lesnar's part-time title reign. So, if the two men were booed on the Grandest Stage of Them All, you can rest assured that they'll be booed at SummerSlam. Thus, in order to avoid a repeat of WrestleMania, WWE must have something major planned.

That's where Braun Strowman comes in. Even with a few questionable storylines here and there, 'The Monster Among Men' is on an absolute roll right now, and with his Money In The Bank briefcase, he has the ability to save SummerSlam's unpopular main event from becoming an absolute train-wreck.

On a side note, if Kevin Owens does manage the unthinkable and defeats Strowman to become Mr. Money In The Bank earlier in the night, this won't change plans, as he too will likely cash in the contract. WWE have backed themselves into a major corner here, so we should expect to see them utilise the Money In The Bank briefcase to help them get out of it.

One way or another, we will have a new Universal Champion at the end of SummerSlam... and his name will not be Roman Reigns.
