WWE SummerSlam 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

1. Strowman Being Up Front About Cashing In

Braun Strowman should never be booked to take the easy route, and that's true whether he's playing heel or baby. He's a monster, one capable of standing toe-to-toe with anyone on the roster, telling them he's going to beat the tar out of them, then doing it.

Writing Braun to be totally up front with both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam was the correct call.

The fact it didn't end up working out for 'Mr. Monster In The Bank' is even better, because it now means Raw has a big story to tell during Lesnar's absence over the next few months. Braun chasing Roman Reigns makes sense. It resumes one of 2017's best feuds and brings the Universal Title along for the ride.

Strowman may have been taken out before he could cash in his MITB briefcase and presumably pick clean what was left of Lesnar or Reigns, but he was honest about his intentions. That's the kind of credibility a beast like him needs to remain so popular with fans.
