WWE SummerSlam 2019: 7 Most Likely Outcomes
3. Seth Rollins Will Regain The Universal Championship
Seth Rollins' long-awaited Universal Title reign didn't exactly live up to expectations, as 'The Beastslayer' found himself either paired with Baron Corbin in the longest-running rivalry nobody asked for, or hounded by Brock Lesnar who teased us with the possibility that he might cash in his Money In The Bank contract.
Unfortunately, both collided when, after Rollins finally brought the boring Corbin feud to an end, Lesnar cashed in the contract and absconded with the title to 'Parts Unknown' (or wherever it is that part-time Beasts retreat to).
Since then, the creative team have gone out of their way to make Rollins the underdog in a feud that we already knew he was the underdog in and, if anything, it seems to be an attempt to get the audience behind him again after his lacklustre title reign.
With that in mind, and the fact that they'd be foolish to repeat previous mistakes by having a part-time champion who rarely shows up in the dreaded winter months, it's likely that Rollins will find a way to overcome the odds and defeat Lesnar.
Rollins' WrestleMania victory was portrayed as an effectively-timed fluke and the-powers-that-be have done very little to rectify that perception - with Paul Heyman continually reminding him of it. This will finally be his chance to actually slay the Beast.
