WWE SummerSlam 2019: 7 Most Likely Outcomes

2. Goldberg Will Redeem Himself

Look, we all know that Goldberg's match with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown ended up being a major disappointment - not-to-mention a danger to both competitors. While pairing the aging veterans was never a good idea, Goldberg's early-on concussion and the unbearably hot conditions all resulted in the destruction of a match that started off surprisingly well.

Though The Undertaker wasn't responsible for any of the major goofs that took place, he still redeemed himself by returning to the ring at Extreme Rules last month and delivering his best in-ring performance in years - a feel-good moment that washed away the memories of the ill-fated Goldberg match.

Now, Goldberg gets the chance to do the same at SummerSlam in his match against Dolph Ziggler - and you can rest assured that he will. Sure, his best in-ring days are long behind him, but there is a lot working in his favour here.

First of all, he's facing a younger opponent. Secondly, he ain't doing it in the desert, and perhaps most important of all: this match isn't going longer than five minutes.

Goldberg has always looked a million dollars in short bursts and, even though he's well past his prime, he's still capable of pulling off a performance as if he were. A two-or-three minute bout of Spears and a Jackhammer and the legend will have us all thinking that it's the '90s again as he rids the Super ShowDown botch-fest from our memories.

It's just a shame things won't be quite as positive for Dolph Ziggler.
