Imagine the pop if Edge's music blared over the speakers following that typical WWE pyro right at the start of SummerSlam. People in Las Vegas would lose their damn minds if Alter Bridge blasted out and they suddenly realised that hey, Edge vs. Seth Rollins is kicking this sh*t off.

What's the alternative? That a major grudge match like this sits awkwardly before the main event World Title duo? That Edge and Rollins have to re-inspire a knackered live crowd burned out by too much action mid-way through the show? Screw that. These guys deserve better - they'd be the ideal opener for the main pay-per-view portion this weekend.

Go hell for leather, boys.

Being honest, yours truly doesn't care who wins so long as he gets to see a repeat at Extreme Rules and one side doesn't totally dominate the other here. This should be a 15-20 minute sprint that teases more (with a gimmick) on next month's special.
