Result: Jey puts Rey away with a Splash to retain the straps (10:50).
Rating: How is it already a year since Dominik made his debut? Time sure does fly.
As high as we all were on Dominik's impressive debut at last year's SummerSlam, the novelty appear has worn a little thin, and without him making any tidal in-ring improvements in 12 months, it's a lot less cute watching his father carry the slack.
Still, this was a decent tag match all the same, basically reminding everyone once again that Rey is an absolute dynamo in spite of his age, and can put on a good match with pretty much anyone under almost any circumstance.
Nobody expected a title change here so the ending felt foregone from the jump. Hardly a remarkable match, but it moved fast and did what it needed to. 6/10
