Pat McAfee might have more talent in his little finger than some of the full-time crew do in their entire bodies, but he’s a colour commentator. Besides, Happy/Baron Corbin badly needs a win after the business with Madcap Moss, and this is the right place to give him that.
Corbs is a solid worker when motivated, and he'll surely be right up for it here against his fellow NFL alumni. These lads are good buddies away from the ring, so they'll want to turn some heads and produce a sleeper hit on SummerSlam's undercard. Pat's prior work vs. Adam Cole, Theory and erm...Vince McMahon shows he's capable.

The best outcome would be Baron cheating to win. Then, if they so wish, WWE can squeeze a rematch out of things further down the line. They have to remember that McAfee is an announcer though. Like, that's his main job more than actively wrestling.
