WWE SummerSlam 2026: 12 Things That NEED To Happen
9. Jacob Fatu Picks Up The Pin For His Team
Fatal Influence vs. The Bellas and Paige isn't the only so-so 6-wrestler match primed for Saturday night. The Usos will team with Jacob Fatu vs. LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys elsewhere, and The Bloodline-inspired business will continue to roll on with no ending in sight. Yes, yes it has become nWo-like.
Solo is earning some solid praise for his babyface work on TV, which is cool. The MFTs saga was horrendous for him, and it's fair to say there'd be limited interest in seeing him return to standing behind Roman Reigns over on Raw. Y'know, like Fatu just did after a brief threat that he'd blossom into WWE's next main event babyface.
In effect, poor Jacob has been neutered by his alliance with family. He's right back where he started as a heavy, only he doesn't carry nearly the same level of menace that he did when fighting Sikoa's battles or shouting: "I love you, Solo" over and over again on SmackDown. It's been a short, sharp fall for the 'Samoan Werewolf'.
That's why it'd be lovely to see him get the deciding pin over the weekend at SummerSlam. If Fatu pins Solo, LA or Royce, then Roman will be chuffed to bits. Meanwhile, The Usos can take a licking from the 'OTC' for failing to get the job done by themselves in the first place. They haven't recruited Sikoa like the 'Tribal Chief' told them to.
The broader story is painfully uninteresting, but we're here now. Time to make the best of a bad situation.
