WWE Super Show-Down: 7 Nostalgic Nods In The Undertaker/Triple H Match

3. DX Double Team

Triple H finally did the impossible and defeated The Undertaker at Super Show-Down. However, he didn't do it alone. It would take a Sweet Chin Music from his DX buddy Shawn Michaels and a sledgehammer shot to weaken 'The Deadman' and set him up for the loss, but the sequence that ultimately defeated him was pulled from one of the trio's most instantly recognisable moments.

Michaels would hit 'The Phenom' with another Sweet Chin Music, sending him into the waiting Triple H - who nailed him with the Pedigree for the win. This moment was identical to the false finish from HHH and 'Taker's End of an Era match at WrestleMania XXVIII, when the provoked special guest-referee Michaels kick-started the exact same chain of events in a moment that almost ended The Streak.

How fitting that this sequence was revisited to put an end to the "Last Time Ever".
