WWE Super Show-Down: 8 Things We Learned
4. We're Definitely Getting Nikki Bella Vs. Ronda Rousey At WWE Evolution
Well, we all called this one... and we all wanted to be wrong.
At the beginning of the seemingly pointless tag team match that saw Ronda Rousey and the Bella Twins take on The Riott Squad, there was a rather awkward moment between the Raw Women's Champion and one of her partners. Rousey, who has had well-documented issues with her opponents in recent weeks, couldn't wait to start the match, and the Melbourne crowd couldn't wait to see her do so. That is, until Nikki Bella inexplicably decided that she wanted to go first. Why? On what grounds should you go first, Nikki?
The awkward exchange was relatively brief but it was more than enough to plant some seeds for what's looking to be the main event of WWE Evolution. Moreover, the fact that both of the Bellas continually excluded Rousey throughout the match is more than enough to rile up 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' while Nikki likely won't take too well to the fact that the champion ended up saving their asses.
It was a serviceable way to set up the forthcoming match between Nikki and Ronda which is, unfortunately, looking like an inevitably at this point.
