WWE Survivor Series 2002: 5 Awesome Things And 5 That Sucked

3. The Debut (Or Return) Of Scott Steiner

Prior to the main event, Chris Nowinski and Matt Hardy were in the ring upsetting the fans while they bragged about how great they were. They were midcard heels that really weren't major factors, so they were the perfect guys to rile up the fans. It was a great way to debut Scott Steiner. He was in WWE about a decade earlier as a tag team wrestler with his brother Rick, but this time he was there as a singles star that had a good run during the end of WCW. Fans popped huge for him as the sirens went off for his entrance. Steiner wasn't there to talk. He was there to kick ass. Once he got rid of Nowinski and Hardy the crowd cheered him more. It was a memorable way to start him back up in WWE after being away for so long. Doing it in New York City made it that much more special. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7st4b_debuts-scott-steiner-wwe-debut-2002_sport There were definitely some mistakes made with Steiner in WWE because he was much better as a heel, but his appearance at Survivor Series 2002 was definitely a WWE highlight for him.
