Think back to interviews Kurt Angle conducted shortly after rejoining WWE. When asked about who he'd like to wrestle in the promotion, Kurt never hesitated when saying Seth Rollins was one of his top targets. Survivor Series could provide the set up for that and kickstart Angle's WrestleMania program.

If Triple H did move sideways and fight Shane McMahon instead, Kurt would need a new rival. Rollins, as part of The Shield, has been helpful to the Raw General Manager lately, but that may be about to change. Imagine Angle, beaten up from before, was trying to help a troubled Jason Jordan and ended up being outnumbered by SmackDown.

Fans would be calling for The Shield to interfere and help even the odds. Rollins and company would then show face, but choose to watch from the stands as Angle was beaten senseless by Shane McMahon's troops. The next night on Raw, Kurt demanding answers would pave the way to that Rollins feud.
