WWE Survivor Series 2017: 10 Swerves That Could Happen

1. Shinsuke Nakamura Being The Sole Survivor

The main Survivor Series elimination match has some big names involved. Kurt Angle, Triple H, John Cena, Shane McMahon, Randy Orton and even Braun Strowman are all bigger stars in the promotion right now than Shinsuke Nakamura. If WWE want that perception to switch, then they need to start doing more than just talking about Nakamura as a big deal.

What if Survivor Series came down to Shinsuke against Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe and Triple H? The latter could end up brawling to the back with others (Shane McMahon, for example), leaving Nakamura 2-on-1 against Joe and Bálor. That's when he'd overcome the odds and become sole survivor of the entire match.

Few would see this one coming. Instantly, it'd make Nakamura seem like a big star and, provided WWE don't want Shinsuke vs. AJ Styles, open doors for a cross-brand match against either Bálor or Joe at WrestleMania. A win for SmackDown would also lead to Shane rewarding Nakamura for his efforts.
