WWE Survivor Series 2017: 10 Swerves That Could Happen

9. WWE Putting Titles On The Line For Ultimate Brand Bragging Rights

Aside from the Cruiserweight Title (and that's on the pre-show), there are no belts up for grabs at Survivor Series. The pay-per-view has been booked around that tiresome Raw vs. SmackDown concept, so there's not really much riding on the main singles matches.

Time for Vince McMahon to make another change.

If WWE announce during the Kickoff portion that they're upping the ante and making even one match 'Title For Title', it'd make something like Charlotte vs. Alexa Bliss feel bigger. Failing that, they could even make Sheamus and Cesaro vs. The Usos a winner-takes-all situation. Why not? They have the power, and it's not like logic has stopped WWE in the past.

If nothing else, this would potentially set up another brand battle for Royal Rumble or beyond. Yes, the brand warfare is tedious, but only because there's nothing at stake in the minds of fans. WWE wouldn't even need to worry about unifying any titles. The story would simply be, "we have your brand's title, come and get it", thus setting up an easy program for 'Mania season.
