It's hardly a secret that WWE want Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns as WrestleMania 34's headliner. All signs are pointing towards that. Both guys are preoccupied with other things right now, but they will be short-lived. What if that's the case with The Shield's reunion? Maybe Roman playing buddies with Ambrose and Rollins again won't last.

There's an opportunity to shock fans and make The New Day look like the premier group in WWE all at once here. People are fully expecting that The Shield will beat New Day at Survivor Series and move on to another feud the next night on Raw. The much more interesting situation would be a loss, but only because Woods, Big E and Kingston turn heel.

New Day haven't been heel since organically turning babyface a few years ago. They have showed a mean streak in matches against The Usos, though, so they'd be workable as villains again. They're also crying out for something fresh, and The Shield need a story to move Reigns back into a top singles push.
