If Enzo Amore is the budget standard-bearer for the opinion that personality, not prowess, is the true secret to wrestling success, Alexa Bliss is his lavish equivalent. Raw's 'Wicked Witch' doesn't possess the technical mastery of her SmackDown opponent, but it was her charismatic performance which drove their contest.

Against any other opponent of such obviously limited capabilities, this would have been a routine squash for Charlotte; with Bliss in situ, it was instead an intricate character study of an arrogant, over-confident heel struggling to come to terms with her own inferiority. The wrestling on display was nothing beyond ordinary, but the theatre was as good as anything else on the night.
