WWE Survivor Series 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
10. The 'Fiend' Beats Daniel Bryan
Stop. The. Pain.
That should be the mission heading into Bray Wyatt's first Universal Title defence after bagging the title from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel. Both matches with Rollins were a sh*te-mare for fans; they were too long, had that red lighting and almost simultaneously destroyed interest in Seth as a babyface and Wyatt's 'Fiend' as a gimmick.
Bryan represents hope for Bray. They've dropped hints at rekindling story plot points from the past, both appear motivated by the thought of feuding with one another and both have something to prove. That, all going well, will result in a solid match that lacks eyeball-scorching lighting and senseless booking.
The 'Fiend' must win too. Wyatt is dead on arrival in Illinois if WWE creative tell him he's dropping the belt and once again playing chaser. Surely, that won't happen. WWE must have the gumption to spot where they've been going wrong with the character, give him some much-needed stability and put things right.
