4. New Day Rocks, New Day Rocks...
I complained earlier this week about the lack of a traditional
five on five match at Survivor Series, and the WWE typically announced one the next day. What hasn't yet been revealed is who will make up each of the teams, but with the red hot New Day going into the PPV without a Tag Team Championship match set, they'll no doubt be part of this one (likely to be announced for the preshow sometime on Sunday). Looking back at the past week, common sense says their opponents will be The Usos, The Lucha Dragons, and Ryback, but who could possibly team up with The New Day? The Ascension are one possibility as are King Barrett and Sheamus, but regardless of which of their fellow Superstars they're paired with, I'd say it's fairly obvious that these guys are going to continue being downright awesome. Their transformation this past year has been nothing short of extraordinary, and their momentum is showing no signs of slowing down. With any luck, they'll come out of Survivor Series standing tall and looking as dominant as when they took down John Cena and The Dudley Boyz, because despite how funny The New Day is, they should also be recognised as a force to be reckoned with.
