WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True
2. Charlotte Flair Turns Heel For No Reason
Again, the sideshow plot line involving Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley struggling to work together proved to be a waste of time during the build towards Survivors on TV. They shook hands on SmackDown last week to cement that both are on the same page, but there’s always a chance that WWE will swerve, bro. They might feel they need to in order to pump some gas into this thing.
The downside is that Flair turning her back on Alexa Bliss because she can’t stand Ripley would end their fun tag-team and wreck the first time Charlotte has genuinely been over as a babyface all at once. It’d be a mistake, basically. WWE tried and failed to get Flair over as a likeable baby for years, and her union with Alexa has achieved what most previously thought impossible. Throwing that away so suddenly would be daft.
Daft, we say!
The problem is that the women's WarGames field is boring as hell. It's a nothing going on situation until AJ Lee and Becky Lynch start tearing into one another. That'll be the hottest part of the match, and WWE better hope they come up with the goods or this bout is up a certain creek without a paddle. Thus, Flair going rogue again could be some kind of 'in emergency break glass' option.
Splitting one of the best women's tag-teams on the roster after a single title reign just to inject a mediocre match you've created with some life? Yeah, that'd be poor planning from the writing squad. If they're weighing up turning Charlotte here, then they should quit it. Just doesn't need to happen.
