WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. Nobody Cares About Women’s WarGames

Being frank, the lineup for Saturday's women's WarGames match is weaker than a kitten wearing boxing gloves.

Lash Legend and Nia Jax are a brand new team, the side story involving Charlotte Flair went precisely nowhere, and the only real juice here is between AJ Lee and Becky Lynch. Honestly, this could play before lengthy spells of silence unless they keep the weapon shots and pace up throughout. God help everyone if Lash and Alexa Bliss kick things off for their respective teams.

A singles bout pitting AJ vs. Becky is almost certainly on the slate for a coming supershow. It might even happen as part of John Cena's retirement fun on 13 December at SNME. Or, failing that, WWE will keep things moving along slowly so they can spin things out until next year and WrestleMania shenanigans. That's achievable, 'cause Lee isn't a full-timer who's expected to be there every single week.

She's a special attraction these days, which is fine. What isn't fine is sticking so many women in the double cage without rhyme or reason. Genuine question: What are these ladies even fighting about? There was no need to put this under the WarGames banner when it could've been that traditional Survivor Series elimination match mentioned in an earlier entry.

Trips missed an easy trick there, didn't he? Sorry, but this one just oozes 'second rate' before the bell has even sounded. That shouldn't be the case when it comes to top gimmicks like WarGames. Give us a reason to care heading into the show, WWE. That isn't much to ask.
