WWE: The Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

The Undertaker vs Triple H - WRESTLEMANIA XVIII

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlkdejN5EOs Surprisingly at last year's PPV it was The Undertaker who was demanding the match as he felt he still had something to prove against Triple H after needing help to leave the ring post match at Wrestlemania 27. After some back and forth in which Hunter refused the two eventually agreed to go at it one last time but this year it would be inside a Hell in a Cell and HBK would be the guest referee. Erasing all memories of the horrible Undertaker/Boss Man Cell contest years previously this brutal contest showed a human side to the Dead Man for the first time and presented him not so much as a Phenom but as a grizzly veteran who just would not lay down and die. Sporting a new shaved head and Mohawk he looked meaner than ever and battled Triple H like his life depended on it. The added extra of having HBK involved created a what if scenario in which Shawn could screw either man at any minute. He could decided to end The Streak in retaliation for his own losses or could cost Hunter the match to prevent him from doing what Mr Wrestlemania could not. In the end it was a Tombstone Piledriver that won him the match even after taking over a dozen chair shots to the back as well as being smashed with a sledgehammer and the ring steps. In a show of respect all three men embraced post match and cemented their legacy as part of 4 of Wrestlemania's greatest ever moments. If this had been either man's final match in a WWE ring it would have been one Hell of a way to go out. Score: 9.5/10 As Wrestlemania 29 fast approaches who (if anyone) will be next to challenge The Streak? Only time will tell, but this writer is betting the house on CM Punk.
