Result: Alex nails a DDT to retain her title (11:25).

Rating: This was the definition of a rock solid, story-driven match. Both competitors did well even with an abundance of rough botches.

It was easy to root for Mickie here, who honestly is looking in the best shape of her career right now. It would've been fun for Mickie to take the win and get a victory lap title run as thanks for putting over the younger talent as of late.

Plus, Alexa's reign just isn't that interesting, cemented by this match having the same tired, lazy ending that most of her matches seem to: turnbuckle hit and a DDT to finish. 6/10
