4. Emma Vs. Asuka

Result: Emma taps to the Asuka Lock (9:25).

Rating: Nobody was surely expecting anything more from this than a straight-up squash match, so it was a pleasant surprise to see Emma not get steamrolled in a matter of minutes.

On the other hand it was surprising how much punishment Asuka actually took, and you could certainly argue that this undermined the impact of her main roster debut. A shorter match where the balance shifted to Asuka's favour after a few minutes probably would've made more sense for her build.

Still, this was a less-cynical match than expected, with some good stiff work from both competitors. Emma actually came out of it surprisingly well, even if this was nothing on their NXT TakeOver: London match from 2015. 6/10
