WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen
7. Lio Rush Helps Bobby Lashley Beat Elias
Again, this is quintessentially WCW .
A Ladder-based match complete with a gimmick weapon hanging high above the ring? Hmm, one would be forgiven for thinking the McMahon family gave Vince Russo a call and asked him to dip into his old bag of tricks. Still, the cartoonish idea doesn't necessarily mean the match will be bad.
Elias is hot enough as a new babyface that fans will be somewhat invested. Plus, Lio Rush is such an overbearing little gnat, and WWE have done such a good job of his relationship with Bobby Lashley, that it'd be fun to see Raw's music man twang him with a guitar. Keep in mind that simply retrieving the instrument isn't enough to win the match.
There's WWE out. Elias should get the six-stringer, bash Lio and leave himself open for some Lashley power moves and the win. As a newborn face, Eli doesn't need the win as much as Bobby does. Raw is painfully short on effective heels, so he has to get one here.
