WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

7. Giving Baron Corbin The Boot

It's the best decision generally that Baron Corbin probably won't be Raw GM going forward; there's a reason for those italics. It's hardly impossible that Vinnie Mac will swerve everyone, claim Baron is doing a stellar job and torture the fans by making him permanent GM. They wouldn't, would they?

Not yet, so breathe easy.

Corbin's kicking at the hands of Apollo Crews, Heath Slater, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Finn Bálor and Kurt Angle was a waste of pay-per-view time, sure, but it wasn't as offensively long as a full-blown TLC match might've been between he and Braun Strowman. This, for what it was, was a small mercy on a card that didn't have many before the final hour or so.

Fingers crossed on a Corbin promo-less Monday Night Raw in 2019. Our ears need a break from those forced rants, ones that didn't crank up the heat as much as cause people to tune out. Removing Baron from power was the right move.
