WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Mar. 30)

6. Celebrities 2. Miz 0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KetT9XdG5uI If Joe Manganiello stepped foot in a UFC ring, it's doubtful that he would be able to beat up former champion Randy Couture. This logic doesn't apply in wrestling, former champions are about as tough as children. You see, despite being hired solely for their ability to fight, apparently WWE stars aren't very talented. Celebrities have shown that time and time again that they're somehow tougher than trained wrestlers. The Miz seems to be the de facto choice these days of jobbing to anyone with mainstream recognition. First, talk show host, and Kelly Ripa's tag team partner, Michael Strahan, showed that he's athletically superior to Miz a few months ago. This week a couple guys from an awfully reviewed action film took their turn at him. Even if Miz is a mid-card heel these days, it just seems odd to see someone show up from another world of entertainment and get the best of him so easily. WWE wrestlers should be presented as the toughest men and women on the planet, and not like comedy figures on a bad sitcom. And while it was kind of cool to see Arnold back on Raw, it looks like he's no longer a main-eventer either. Instead of punching HHH in the head like he did back in 1999, he's been relegated to The Miz. Next time we see him again, he'll be feuding with Yoshi Tatsu.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
