WWE And TNA: 8 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 29)

6. I€™m Taking My Money Out Of This Bank

WWE.comWWE.comWWE€™s secondary Money in the Bank ladder match sums up so much of what is wrong with the company right now. There are talented wrestlers in the match, who from a storyline standpoint, have no business being in there. For starters, we as fans were supposed to be outraged that Seth Rollins was just given a spot in the match without earning it. However, basically every other entrant was just let in too. Well at least Rollins wins most of his matches. Kofi Kingston has lost nine straight televised matches, Jack Swagger is 3-7 in his last 10 singles matches and Ziggler is 2-6 recently. Besides, Adam Rose defeated Swagger twice, shouldn€™t he be the one getting the shot at the title? How about Rusev? He hasn€™t lost a single time, he surely deserves the shot more than Kofi. Heck, El Torito has more of a claim than nearly everyone in there. Now, I understand from a behind the scenes aspect, they€™re €œprotecting€ guys like Rusev by not having them booked to lose. But it makes no sense from a storytelling standpoint that so many losers are in.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
