WWE And TNA: 8 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 29)

4. A Helping Hand

TNA.comTNA.comAfter months of battling his former partner James Storm, Gunner walked out of the feud the victor and with the biggest wins of his career. Then he disappeared...to help out a lowly mid-card wrestler in an insane asylum. Now, I€™m no expert of the law, but I€™m not sure you can have someone declared criminally insane just because they lost a stipulated wrestling match. However, if we can looks past that for a moment, we have to wonder what exactly TNA has in mind for Shaw and Gunner. After weeks of segments between Gunner and Shaw, we found out this week that Shaw is ready to go home...provided that he is in the care of Gunner. That€™s a huge responsibility. I hope he knows what he€™s getting into, this isn€™t like getting a cat. Gunner is going to have to feed Samuel and take him for walks. TNA should be wondering if this is really the best use of either character€™s time. Shaw started out decently enough, then he was emasculated by Christy Hemme, and by Mr. Anderson defeating him on multiple occasions. Oh yeah, and it was revealed that the character was still living with his mother. That just screams monster heel! Well, this strange pairing has yet to make it into the arena, but odds are this was just a crazy idea all along.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
