WWE To Debut New Raw & SmackDown Set Designs?

Both main roster brands could be set for a major overhaul.

This week's Raw and SmackDown are the last on WWE's existing television deal with USA Network, with WWE's flagship show set to stay on USA on improved terms from 30 September and the blue brand jumping to FOX on 4 October.

It's a new start for the promotion and, per WrestleVotes, it'll coincide with a big image change for both shows:-

It should be noted that this isn't the first time this has been reported, with several other outlets previously stating that WWE could look to build new sets for Raw and SmackDown to coincide with the new TV deals kicking in.

Regardless, it's hard to imagine anyone being too upset by this. While the current stage was only introduced in 2016, anything that freshens up WWE's aesthetics is usually taken as a positive, and it would be particularly great to see the company going back to the days when Raw and SmackDown had their own unique, distinct looks.

A return for SmackDown's famous fist seems unlikely, though it's clear that the promotion are going all-out to make the show feel special for the FOX move. Here's hoping it comes to fruition.
