WWE: Top 10 Tag Teams Of The Attitude Era

7. Too Cool

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPFqdWoJMpQ Scotty 2 Hotty and Grand Master Sexay originally began as the heel team Too Much, going by the names of 'Too Hot' Scott Taylor and 'Too Sexy' Brian Christopher before being repackaged as a babyface dancing duo Too Cool in late 1999. The hip hop pair gained popularity from dancing under lights at the conclusion of matches and aligning themselves with the 400lb Rikishi Phatu, who would also join in on the fun. The trio even danced together during the 2000 Royal Rumble match (see above video), when they were the only three in the ring at the time, before Rikishi threw his friends over the rope. As relatively small guys, they weren't dominating in the ring, it was their gimmick that got them over in a big way, leading to a lot of air time and being involved in main event matches on Raw and Smackdown. However, they did have a brief run with the WWF Tag Team titles in mid 2000, at the height of their popularity. Another popular part of their act, which many fans tried to replicate at home, was Scotty 2 Hotty's 'The Worm' maneuver. This involved doing 'the worm' dance before a drop chop to the throat of a floored opponent. The pair disbanded in 2001 when Scotty 2 Hotty departed for neck surgery and Grand Master Sexay was released.
