WWE: The Ultimate Warrior - 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

1. Ultimate Warrior Vs Rick Rude

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqyAmgz2QTs For many old school WWF fans, the Summerslam 89 Warrior vs Rude match is the finest work of Hellwig's in ring efforts. Rude was a talented worker who knew how to get the very best out of Warrior. The pair had enjoyed a successful series of earlier matches, but this was the one that really stands out. Warrior came to the ring with all the energy that made these matches seem exciting. He shook the ropes and entered the ring to a vocal reception. Wrestling wise it was a good brawl. The action spilled to the outside early, Rude's brilliant selling and the commentary helping it to get over big. A strong mixture of back and forth strikes were the main building blocks of the exciting drama. The crowd climaxed with roaring cheers for Warrior's press and splash for the win. People may knock Hellwig, but his regaining of the Intercontinental Title here seemed huge. The two men had got it over as if it was a WWE Championship match. To conclude the reflection on Warrior's greatest matches I have this to say - wrestling is all about connecting with the audience. Give these videos a watch. Warrior was fantastic at his job. And now on to his worst matches ....
