WWE Wrestlemania 29: Preview & Predictions
Triple H Vs Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman - If Triple H Loses He Must Retire Brock Lesnar Vs Triple H last year was far from pretty in fact it wasn't much of anything. Sure it was hard hitting and both men went at it like two bitter enemies but so soon after Hunter/Undertaker at Wrestlemania 28 it seemed to fall flat. This time both men have a lot to live up to and with Hunter's run with 'Taker over the last 2 years there's no doubting he'll want to lose any of his 'Mania momentum against Brock. Brock Lesnar has lots to prove as well. He's signed a new deal that ties him to Vince for another couple of years so he needs to show he's still worth the investment because for much of his one year deal he's been incredibly underwhelming in the ring although part of this is WWE's fault for allowing Cena to win their Extreme Rules match. The last time Brock appeared at a Wrestlemania was against Bill Goldberg and he was booed out of the arena and the company so he'll need to erase that from his mind and show a little of the spark he's had in recent week's during his latest run with Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon. Prediction: I can't see Triple H losing a second time but from a storyline perspective it would make more sense to have Lesnar go over and someone new to step up to defend the McMahon family honour - and I don't mean Shane McMahon. For that reason I'm going out on a limb to predict that somehow Lesnar is going to force Hunter to retire (he's part time anyway so it wont be that hard to stay out of the ring for him surely?) with a third match between the two to take place somewhere down the line. Fallout: Brock Lesnar wins and enters the WWE Championship picture. He can fight either Rock or Cena because he's the heel but let's assume it's Cena setting up Brock/Cena 2 for Summerslam. Hunter disappears only to re-emerge in his out of ring office role to carry on screwing with Lesnar leading to a match at some point in the next 12 months. Alternative Match: Brock and The Rock - but not in a main event.
