As previously mentioned the ideal winner needs to not only be completely unexpected but in order to establish the legitimacy of the event also needs to be pushed straight to the top of the WWE. Antonio Cesaro finds himself one of eight men booked in a throwaway tag team championship match on the Wrestlemania pre-show. There is absolutely no indication that he is to pull double duty but unclaimed spots are still up for grabs. If he was suddenly announced a contestant in the Battle Royal moments before entering and then went on to the entire thing it would certainly be an unexpected surprise. From there an extended main event program against the likes of John Cena or Daniel Bryan should await. The crucial point here that a lot forgot is that WWE has all the tools to push whoever they want to the top of the company but the person they actually elect to push has to also have all the attributes and determination to hold up their end of the bargain. There is no such problem with Cesaro. In the ring the few times he has been tested in the main event he has thrived. His recent matches with John Cena and Randy Orton on Raw were outstanding; his performance in the Elimination Chamber whilst short also spectacular. Match of the year candidates with Sami Zayn on NXT prove that when positioned in a company ace role battling younger upcoming superstars he is equally as capable. For all the talk of Daniel Bryan's in ring ability, Cesaro is every bit as good. His promo skills could be questioned, however on the Independent scene this was one of his strong points. If that experience does not translate to a global scale, in the short term if he turned on Jack Swagger he still has an ideal spokesperson in Zeb Coulter to cover for him. There can only be one winner of the inaugural Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, it has to be the Real American Antonio Cesaro.
