WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Streak's Must End

5. Undertaker Is Too Old And Broken Down, It Is Time To End It

Theundertaker2 Undertaker is a private man, but it is well known that he has had various surgeries for neck, knee, shoulder and knee problems. Currently aged 48 and having competed in WWE for over 20 years, this is of little surprise. There was also speculation that Taker had a cancer scare a few years back, hence the haircut and lack of any appearance for months on end. This has never been proven, but we know for sure that Taker is physically not a young man anymore. An end has to come eventually. Undertaker is working less and less each year, and this year almost didn't make Mania at all. It was a very late decision made that he would indeed be able to work with CM Punk at Mania 29. He was then rumored to be working Summerslam against The Shield, who had beat him upon Smackdown earlier in the year. That however never happened, which seems to suggest that Taker really is in a struggle for fitness. It is time to allow Mark Calaway to "rest in peace". A dropping of his "streak title" is the best way to do that.
