WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Most Shocking Things We Witnessed

2. Did WWE Just Listen To The Fans?

Despite fans probably expecting yet another screw-job, Daniel Bryan followed in the auspicious footsteps of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit as the plucky, adored underdog who took it to the Authority and won despite seemingly insurmountable odds. The stage was set for Bryan to fail again, even after he put Triple H down, and with the Authority circling, and disgraced ref Scott Anderson returned to the ring, it looked like the dismal story had written itself. But a kick-out, and a Yes Lock later and the hirsute warrior emerged victorious, finally given his WrestleMania moment. He is not the future of the company by any means - just like Guerrero and Benoit - but this was a victory for the fans, and they lapped it up. In the aftermath of the victory, Michael Cole proclaimed Daniel Bryan the new face of the WWE, which might well come true very soon with the cover reveal of the upcoming WWE 2K15, but you really have to think that in order to fulfil either of those responsibilities the Goat Faced Champion is really going to have to do something about that beard. When Bray Wyatt makes you look like a hobo, it's possibly time to re-evaluate.
