WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Things That Need To Happen

9. A 'Yes' Chant For The Ages

Daniel Bryan Yes

The sound many people were expecting to hear at this year's Royal Rumble was said chant. Not echoing boos which could be heard for miles round. A noise so overt that even the real 'Authority' shouldn't ignore. But, unfortunately they probably will. The popularity of Daniel Bryan is about a great deal more than mere admiration for a wrestler. But rather, that a genuine underdog can strive his way to success in a business bulging with self-righteously boasting bodybuilders.

The reports are indicating that Bryan's defining championship moment will come at the Extreme Rules PPV. But for many, including myself, that just won't cut the mustard; another halfhearted cop out. If Danielson won the coveted strap at Mania, the crowd reaction would be unprecedented.

Time to wake up, the fans will be lucky if Bryan even records a victory at the event, never mind become the undisputed 'face' of the company. The best we can hope for is to make our voices heard. Yes!
