WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Current Problems That Need Resolving

3. Brock Lesnar Does Not Pose A Real Threat To The Undertaker's Streak

Brock Lesnar Over the past several months, rumors surrounding The Undertaker's potential WrestleMania 30 opponent ranged from John Cena to Sting to perhaps even Roman Reigns. But the one name that was thrown around more than anyone was Brock Lesnar. The Beast had at least a modicum of real life perceived heat with Undertaker, that stemmed from a UFC event in which the two men had a stare down after Lesnar's loss. From that point on, Taker versus Lesnar seemed like a match that was destined to happen and many fans felt that it should happen at WrestleMania. And on paper, the match does seem like a good move. The Deadman is getting older, his body is obviously not what it used to be while Brock has never looked better physically; Lesnar just seems to never show his age. And thanks to his MMA training, he is more dangerous and brutal than during his initial WWE run, in which he first butted heads with The Undertaker. But despite how good this match sounds, the truth is that many fans feel Brock has practically zero chance of defeating Undertaker's undefeated streak at Mania. And that all but destroys any potential drama that could have come from a match with a younger Superstar. There is no benefit from Lesnar winning the match against The Phenom. Brock's WWE schedule is far less than part time and if he did in fact go over on Taker, he could very well disappear once again while angry fans are left wondering what happened. The match itself should be entertaining, as Taker steps up his game every year at WrestleMania. And Brock will definitely bring his famous brutality to the bout, in match that could very well be one of the most memorable on April 6. But every near fall that Brock has will be virtually meaningless, as fans will already be well aware of the outcome. The fact is that there was more drama and more believability in CM Punk's challenge from WrestleMania 29 but that is just not the case for Brock Lesnar. A part time Superstar attempting to end the undefeated streak of perhaps WWE's greatest attraction of all time? For many fans, this match had better deliver because the premise behind it has already failed miserably.
