WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Things That Need To Happen

3. Bray Wyatt Should Defeat The Undertaker

The Undertaker's career should have ended the night after WrestleMania XXX. After Vince McMahon made the decision to have Brock Lesnar end the Streak and defeat Taker at the biggest show of the year, that should have been the final match of the legendary Deadman. It would have been a fitting end to a career. While absolutely no one wanted to see the Streak end, Undertaker could have ridden off into the sunset with his legacy firmly in place, even though his WrestleMania XXX match made him look old, slow, and finished. For whatever reason, WWE thinks it can recapture lightning in a bottle and decided to go forward with a Bray Wyatt vs. Undertaker program for WrestleMania XXXI that honestly feels thrown together and completely heatless. Combine this with WWE's plan to not have the Undertaker appear on WWE television until WrestleMania and you have a recipe for disaster. It's completely possible that the match will have no heat or drama because, without the Streak on the line, Bray Wyatt is just wrestling an old man. Taker's Streak meant more to fans than any world title or stipulation, it was something that went beyond traditional wrestling. Once it ended, the mystique of the Undertaker at WrestleMania ended with it. However, if WWE is serious about running this match then they need to have Bray Wyatt win. After a strong showing at the Royal Rumble, Wyatt has been drifting along aimlessly. After the completely pointless breakup of the Wyatt Family, Bray has been left with nothing to do besides cut promos. For someone who was seen as a future main event superstar, the writing team certainly hasn't been working extra to try to get him over. So, to get Bray back on track, he should defeat Taker. Not only that but he should dominate and beat Taker. The Undertaker's Streak is already over and he's certainly never, ever returning for a full-time run so what would be the point of Undertaker winning the match? Wyatt is a full-time roster member who is presumably a major part of your future as a promotion. The match should be under six minutes long and Wyatt should win easily.
