5. Rusev (C) Vs John Cena - US Title Match
For the second year in a row, main franchise star John Cena is having to make do with a midcard berth. He'll be going up against the undefeated Rusev and the feud has generated some strong reactions in its USA vs Russia narrative. The build has been decent, and it has helped to elevate the US Title.
In terms of a match, it should be similar to the effort that these two men had at Fastlane. It was a good match and it should be more of the same. Cena usually delivers on the big shows and Rusev has proved capable in the ring.
The crucial question is what finish will WWE book? Rusev the monster heel has a ton of potential if he is kept undefeated. Imagine if WWE build and build him towards a match against babyface Brock Lesnar.
On the other hand, John Cena is WWE's hottest property and rarely does such high profile jobs. It'd be a brave move to bet against him at WrestleMania. He's already making do with a midcard spot, would WWE really have him do a job as well?
