WWE WrestleMania 32: 10 Potential Opponents For Triple H
The Rock is out, Seth Rollins is out... who's left?
Earlier this week, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter broke the news that The Rock was not expected to compete at WrestleMania XXXII. Parties associated with one of "The Great One's" upcoming films have expressed concern over the possibility of his getting injured, leaving the former WWE Champion with no option but to pull out of any in-ring action. While he's still likely to be a part of the event, it won't be in a wrestling capacity. This causes a problem for WWE higher-ups, who were clearly banking on a Rock-Triple H match at the show, teasing it heavily at WrestleMania XXXI. With decision-makers hoping for WrestleMania in Arlington to draw the company's all-time biggest crowd, they urged the creative team to pull out all the stops en route to making it the greatest event ever. Losing The Rock - and his bout with career-long rival Triple H - is a major blow to WrestleMania XXXII. Making matters even worse is that a built-in back-up plan for Triple H - a match against protege Seth Rollins - is now also off the cards due to Rollins's knee injury. Suddenly, "The Game" - who retired from full-time competition in 2010 but has still been a major part of WrestleMania every year since - has no direction leading into the show, meaning that unless the company plans something soon, they won't be getting their maximum value out of him. Luckily, there are still many available matches for Triple H at WrestleMania XXXII. While some are more plausible than others, they're all potential routes for WWE to head down in the pursuit of another main event-level clash at the show of shows. From the superstars to the up-and-comers, here are ten potential WrestleMania opponents for "The Game."
