WWE WrestleMania 32: 10 Reasons It Didn't Suck
5. NXT Was Allowed To Shine
It seems many are content to point out minutes used on legends like The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Steve Austin, all the while ignoring the time afforded to others. Guys like Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin looked awesome during their respective matches, but that appears to have been overlooked by those favouring a negative approach.
Both men are products of WWE's NXT developmental brand, one of the promotion's shining lights over the past few years. Crucially, everyone involved in the WWE Women's Title Triple Threat also passed through that system, meaning 'Mania was littered with the presence of NXT stars past and present.
The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal may not be the biggest prize WrestleMania can provide, but it's still a win Corbin will treasure. To be given the chance to stand over guys like Kane and Big Show represents progress for the man, and progress for WWE.
Obviously, they need to follow up with The Lone Wolf, but this was a great start to his life on the main roster.
